what the heck is she thinking?!

01-28-2007: another rough week, this time made more interesting by something weird going on with my hands. woooo! happy chibi! anyway, i was not, to say the least, at all inspired to do much drawing. i did get a lot done, though, including getting that jewelry thread posted and doing a few photoshoots and Sterling's scarring. it took a couple of hours over two days, but it came out great.

01-20-2006: it's been a really rough week, but it was punctuated by fun. on Thursday, we had a small meetup at our house, which resulted in this week's comic, woohoo!! it was cool meeting people and their dolls, and we plan to do it again next month.
the job is still... weighing on me. i've begun job hunting, looking for something that is more in my field, and i've begun as well to brainstorm on reworking my professional portfolio to reflect what it is i currently do, not what i did in college. it's a lot to handle, but i'm kind of looking forward to it. in other news, fruits and veggies continue well, i'm making doll jewelry like a madwoman, and i have begun to sculpt my own BJD. i haven't gotten very far on her, but i hope to make some progress this weekend if possible. other things to tackle this weekend -- photographing the jewelry i have made to sell and getting those pics photoshopped and uploaded so i can start a sales thread. wish me luck!

01-13-2006: sick, stressed, and plotting. not the best of combinations, but so far it seems to be working. looks like lots of changes will be coming in the future. not sure what form they'll take yet, but that's okay. i'm still looking forward to the adventure they will be.
see, THIS is how i know the cymbalta is working. this confidence and view of what is to come as an adventure. which is how i know the job is just... not working out.
anyway... more another time, as i'm late enough already! take care, everyone!

01-06-2007: the year's off to a slow start for me, but it's been a good one. yes, i'm a little late, but it IS still Saturday, so i haven't totally fluffed on getting the comic up. forgot to bring my sketchbook upstairs with me, though, so no update to the gallery as of yet. soon, though.
